Cirqua SRE™

Availability: In stock

CA$99.00

Quick Overview

Together these three elements produce a one step filter unmatched in the industry. The SRE™ media, a unique catalytic media, reduces scale producing hard water, without salt or acid. An additional benefit of the catalyst effect on water is it's ability to enhance selective chemical reactions with organics in your coffee to produce an enhanced flavor balance. Roast and origin are not limiting factors to enjoying a better flavor profile.

If you're looking for the "Magic Bullet" for coffee and tea, this is as close as it gets in a single easy to use filter.

How the SRE™ works:

The SRE™ media reduces scale build up by reacting with the scale forming compound, calcium bicarbonate, without the introduction of heat and inducing it to form calcium carbonate and carbon dioxide. Once this reaction occurs the calcium carbonate relaxes into a surface neutral state resisting adhesion and simply flows thru the water supply channels.

The added benefit of this reaction is an enhanced interaction between the calcium carbonate / magnesium carbonate creating additional reaction pathways within organic coffee compounds to chemically tease out a better flavor profile than is possible with any other water treatment process other than reverse osmosis / reformulation. When combined with RO / reformulation the ultimate in extraction can be achieved, roast and origin are not mitigating factors.
